The smart functionality of the model is revealed by the home-grown Samsung Smart Hub shell on a substrate from the Tizen system. It provides quick access to terrestrial TV channels, online services and various applications. In order to enjoy the delights of Smart TV, the TV must be connected to the World Wide Web via a Wi-Fi network or via a LAN connector. Other interfaces onboard the Samsung UE-55TU7090 are two HDMI ports, a USB connector, and an optical audio output. The TV panel's own speakers produce surround sound with a total power of 20 watts.
