Not perfect, but almost the best option for this price. - Very attractive design. Not too thick, fits well on the shelf. There are bezels, but they are very thin, so thin that it's better not to press on the edges because the thinness of the bezels might damage the matrix itself. But hey, they're thin. - Decent sound. The bass and balance aren't great, but if you live in a standard small one-bedroom with thin walls and neighbors with kids, the sound will be more than enough for you. I haven't turned the volume above 45 yet. - The firmware doesn't lag and works smoothly with cute fun sounds. A small detail, but amusing. - The matrix and internals support 4K in HDR for file formats up to 70 gigabytes. - Unfortunately, the hardware cannot handle extremely large and high-quality files, like 4K in HDR10+ over 80 gigabytes. - There are light leaks in black colors, and the contrast and viewing angles are far from perfect. But expecting OLED-like picture quality in a TV for 60,000 is foolish. Of course, one would want a better picture and to be able to write about a psychedelic existential experience of immersion in what's happening on the screen, but alas, one must be realistic. - In terms of design and construction, it's clear that the developers did everything possible to include the best features within the required budget. It's an acceptable compromise for a huge screen size and great design. |
I'm using the Samsung UE-50AU7100, and overall, it leaves a pleasant impression. The picture is really good: bright, clear, with decent colors for its class. For movies, series, and YouTube — more than enough, especially if you're watching in a well-lit room. The smart part works stably, Tizen is intuitive and usually doesn't lag. The remote is convenient, the basic apps are there, nothing extra. The sound is average. It's not bad, but nothing that makes you say "wow": it's fine for news or regular watching, but for movies, you'd want more depth. This problem is easily solved by connecting a soundbar, which significantly enhances the TV. Also, unfortunately, there aren't many apps available for the OS. In summary — a successful TV for its price with a good picture and decent functionality. If you're not expecting top-notch sound straight out of the box, the purchase is quite justified. The picture is even, the backlight is even, the OS doesn't lag. the sound is mediocre, Tizen has few popular apps. |
