A scooter from the Schildkrot brand can be attributed to solutions at the junction of the initial and middle price segments. The model is suitable for beginner riders who are interested in both park and street riding. For tricks in skate parks, relatively small dimensions (dimensions of an aluminium deck 48 by 10 cm, and a height of 82 cm) and moderate weight (3.4 kg) will be very useful.

For more aggressive riding in urban environments, the Schildkrot Untwist features a heavy-duty steel Bat-Wing handlebar and a 4-bolt clamp to secure it to the fork. In general, it is permissible to start operating the model from the age of 8, and the upper bar for the user's weight is declared at around 100 kg.

Reliable wheels with quality bearings

The scooter has wheels with a diameter of 100 mm, which, although somewhat limited in terms of maximum speed, are great for tricks, jumps and other freestyle. Tyres are made of high rigidity polyurethane, so accelerated wear does not threaten them, but various bumps in the road will become very noticeable for the rider.

Special mention deserves ABEC 7 class bearings, which also emphasize the versatility of the scooter. They are characterized by high manufacturing precision, so they keep the speed developed by the user well, and in practice they are often less whimsical to weather conditions and maintenance than more high-end parts.

The disadvantages of the model include a rather narrow deck (about 10 cm), the space of which will not be enough for owners of a wide foot or large shoes. Otherwise, Schildkrot Untwist is an interesting scooter for the role of the first stunt model and just for all those who are looking for a relatively inexpensive (budget) solution.
