This latest piece features inspired elements from the 1965 original diver, including its silhouette and distinctive hour markers. The horizontal line patterned dial evokes a marine-sports style, whilst its sapphire exhibition case back is a first in a Seiko Diver. Its lugs have a mirrored finish for added light reflection, whilst its thick hour markers are Lumibrite-coated for high legibility. This is the slimmest of all Seiko mechanical divers watches at only 12.3mm, despite the box sapphire glass and the exhibition case back.This piece is powered by the new slim calibre 6L37 movement which maintains strong accuracy of -10 to +15 seconds per day, with a power reserve of 45 hours.
