Seiko watchmakers often draw inspiration from their local history, culture and surroundings - the Presage Craftsmanship Series celebrates the Japanese 'Takumi' - timepieces which are individually handcrafted by master artisans combining Seiko’s latest watchmaking techniques with centuries of traditional artistry. In this new design, the Urushi dial of this piece has a clear layout with a classic case style, whilst the leather material used for the strap is sourced from LWG certified tanneries - the Leather Working Group non-profit organisation dedicated to sustainable leather production. This watch is powered by the new in-house built Seiko 6R55 calibre with an extended three-day power reserve.
