This watch has been created with an ‘in the field’ military design – taking inspiration from a style originally called a ‘trench watch’ created to be robust and reliable – echoing the Seiko 5 Sports characteristics. The “5” in Seiko Sports represents the original five key features still present today: Automatic movement, Day-date display, Water... moreResistance, Recessed crown and Durable case and bracelet. The Seiko SRPG35K1 5 Sports watch combines a 39mm round shaped stainless steel case and light tan brown nylon NATO strap with a traditional buckle. It has a black analogue dial with LumiBrite coated hands and indexes and a day/date display which is protected beneath curved hardlex glass. Power is generated by the Calibre 4R36 automatic movement with 24 jewels and a power reserve of up to 41 hours. This model also has a transparent case back and a water resistance of up to 100 metres.
