8 years with my coffee maker. Only it was called Elenberg. Absolutely identical to Severin KA 5979. The first month there was a slight plastic smell, which then disappeared. It's placed on my desk. Coffee is made at least 2 times a day. For a good coffee taste it's essential: I turn it on to heat water for 3-5 minutes/switch it to the position where water doesn't flow, but heating continues/. Then I warm up the whole system, coffee container, and cups - I use 50 ml. I add coffee and sugar, tamp it down - turn it on full power. One serving of coffee is 50-70 ml of water. The taste of coffee is much better than from drip or Turkish coffee. Slight plastic smell during the first month of use. use Severin KA 5979 month or more i recommend it should buy |
