Without Any Hassle
The robot vacuum cleaner from the SHARK brand is a mid-range device that almost fully automates the cleaning process. It independently maps routes, moves between rooms, returns to the base after finishing its task, and recharges. Additionally, the device automatically empties its dustbin, transferring debris to a container at the station. The user only needs to clean the dock station and rinse the wet cleaning attachments once every two months—this task is not yet handled by the robot.
The model is designed for both dry and wet cleaning, effectively handling various floor types, including carpets. The special design of the main turbo brush prevents hair and fur from tangling, which is particularly convenient for pet owners. Cleaning in corners and along walls is done using a short side brush and side ducts that create an airflow to push dirt into the suction zone. Wet cleaning is enabled by an ultrasonic module with a microfiber cloth, making up to 100 movements per minute, increasing the efficiency of floor washing.
Navigation, Control, and Autonomy
The LiDAR sensor scans the room 360° to provide precise navigation. The robot creates a space map, maneuvers around obstacles, and plans routes so it cleans sections of the floor multiple times without missing zones. However, the operating autonomy time is only 110 minutes, which falls short compared to some competitors, likely requiring more frequent recharging in larger homes.
Control is handled through a convenient mobile app, where you can set suction power, water output intensity, schedule cleaning times, and define areas off-limits to cleaning.
