Sharp HT-SB140

A simple and affordable 2.0 format soundbar model designed for use with televisions up to 50 inches. Despite its compact size and modest power of 50 W, the device is capable of noticeably improving sound quality compared to typical built-in TV speakers, especially in the areas of speech clarity and high frequency reproduction. The soundbar is designed for either shelf or wall mounting, making it versatile in terms of placement.

The frequency range of 60-20000 Hz covers most of the audible spectrum, although the low frequencies are modestly expressed here — there is no subwoofer included, as is common with many other budget solutions. Nonetheless, thanks to its thoughtful acoustic design, the soundbar can provide dense and immersive sound for everyday movie and TV viewing. For connectivity, both a wireless Bluetooth 4.2 interface and a set of wired inputs are available — mini-jack 3.5 mm, optical, and HDMI with ARC support. This allows for easy integration of the Sharp HT-SB140 into most home theater systems, with volume control directly from the TV remote. The dimensions of the model are 950x63x63 mm and it weighs 1.3 kg, making it convenient for placement on a stand or under a TV mount. The total power consumption is 30 W, and control is carried out using a standard remote control.
