Sigma BC 8.0 WR

The relatively inexpensive cycling computer from the Sigma brand is a wired model that is recommended for beginning cyclists and/or advanced beginners. The device is housed in a compact plastic case and has a monochrome 3-line display with dimensions of 31 by 39 mm. The cable connection of the wheel rotation sensor makes installation somewhat difficult, but at the same time it guarantees stable data transmission and “seamless” display of them on the screen without delays, and also extends the operating life of one battery (a CR 2032 tablet should last for several years).

The Sigma BC 8.0 WR cycling computer informs the user of eight riding indicators, including speed (maximum, current, average and the ratio between the last two values), distance and travel time. There is also a clock and a notification about the need for service (by default it works every 750 km). You don’t have to manually put the device into operation, because there is an automatic start-stop - it turns on when you start pedaling. Among the additional advantages, it is worth highlighting the readiness for almost any weather, including rain, because moisture protection meets the high IPX8 standard.
