The expansion card can be used in any system with a free PCIe x2 port, but of course it also works in all PCIe x4, x8 and x16 slots. The card has an internal 19-pin USB 3.1 header. This allows you to connect two particularly high-bandwidth USB 3.1 Type-A ports .USB 3.1 ports are available with maximum speeds of 10 Gbpstwice as fast as conventional USB 3.0 ports.
