It's a pity that Sony doesn't think about its customers, but only about itself. Soon Sony will sell its cameras in plastic bags in order to save money. I'm disappointed with the attitude. Good picture, wider view than the 2100, excellent stabilizer. The main disadvantage is that the "loss" of sharpness in the background is not resolved. In practice, it’s a good camera for both pros and beginners, but you need to buy an additional battery, a strap, and a pillow for the video camera if it’s not suitable. At work, there's a well-used 2100, and when possible, we bought a 2200, although I was aiming for an E-1000. But the camera is actually good. Playing in manual mode is convenient and the energy efficiency is pleasing. The bad thing is that there is no battery or strap, and the video finder has a hard cushion of 2100 better  vladstudio: use Sony DCR-VX2200E month or more i recommend it should buy |
The VX-2200 is designed for manual operation. What autofocus?? Use your hands, use your hands. It's correct that there is no battery included - otherwise, it would come with the NP-F550 anyway. With a proper approach to filming and the ability to work manually, the output can be of broadcast quality (and if you conduct competent post-production after the final cut, you won't be able to distinguish it from footage obtained on a Sony DSR-450). I recommend buying a protective glass for the front lens (protect). The camera's sensor is designed for 16:9, so I recommend shooting specifically in 16:9. In its segment, it can only compete with the Panasonic DVX100. If you're shooting in HD, why discuss the VX-2200 here?? As a camera recording in SD (Standard Definition), the VX-2200 is actually quite excellent! the camera is comfortable, the weight distribution is normal, it’s convenient to work with your left hand on focus/zoom/aperture, zebra from 70 to 100+, picking in three colors (white/red/yellow), broadcast quality picture, there is PP but I don’t use such a blur - everything goes to post-production after finishing editing, the built-in microphone records sound perfectly, the camera works with PDVM40N cassettes (which I recommend purchasing and recording on them - I work through 40-50 recording cycles without problems, cassettes are expensive but it’s worth it) an hour fits on a cassette records . the platform for the camera is inconveniently located - with the camera installed, it is impossible to open/close the LCD, the eyecup is uncomfortable, there is no way to switch the viewfinder (not to be confused with the LCD) in black and white, the kit does not include a charger or a shoulder strap for carrying. teleoperator: use Sony DCR-VX2200E more than year i recommend it should buy |
