Made in the shape of a cube (dimensions 100x100x100 mm), Sony clock radios represent the middle price segment. Inside the device is a mono speaker measuring 6.6 cm and a power of 100 mW. To listen to the radio, the model provides an analog tuner with support for two frequency bands (FM and AM). On the front of the Sony ICF-C1 clock radio is a square dial displaying large orange characters for easy time reading.

There is also an alarm clock function, which will play either a normal sound signal or the radio to wake up.
