On flat floors the positioning claws can be faced upwards to lay flush against the floor. On tiles the positioning claws can be faced downwards to grip onto the tile edge. Thanks to its innovative housing design the laser can fit perfectly into the corner of a room with lines running directly along the wall. Any irregularities in the squareness of the room are then immediately visible and can be taken into account during layout work. The FLS also has a circular vial that shows whether the laser is positioned horizontally.
