I bought it for my new laptop. I travel around the city with the laptop almost daily, so a sturdy and convenient bag was very much needed. Targus doesn't make the cheapest models, but I really like the quality of their bags. They have the necessary strength and rigidity and look much more solid than cheap "soft" alternatives, which are permanently untidy and look crumpled. This is a solid classic men's bag, made of high quality dense fabric. The fabric material is polyester fiber, which provides the highest strength and wear resistance. True, and scuffs on it also appeared earlier than I expected. Looks tight and stern. Even small red inserts do not violate this rigor, but add a certain element of style. The laptop in the bag fits and is fixed with a Velcro strap without any problems. You can safely place a power supply next to it, but only if its cable is neatly folded. Since my laptop is not the thickest, there is still 1.5-2 centimeters of free thickness in its compartment, which can be used for documents. I liked the spacious patch pocket organizer with pockets for various little things. The laptop bag travels with me a lot and unfortunately, the first signs of abrasions appeared quite quickly on the hard surfaces covered with polyester lining. This, of course, does not affect the integrity or functionality in any way, but the appearance deteriorates noticeably. Plastic carabiners on the belt also do not inspire optimism. |
The Targus Classic Clamshell hides a roomy laptop compartment with a Hook-and-loop strap to secure your device, and a slip organizer pocket on the front with a phone pocket. On the back wall of the bag, there is also a trolley mount, which allows you to fasten it to a travel suitcase.
Access
The zippers of both compartments have two sliders, so you can open the compartments in any direction. If it is necessary to ensure the protection of equipment from unauthorized access, the design of the bag provides for the possibility of attaching a padlock.
Transportation
The model is completed with a detachable shoulder strap, which is attached to the bag with plastic carabiners. Judging by the reviews of the owners, carbines do not inspire much confidence. However, the durable neoprene handle makes it easy to carry the bag by hand.
fit
In fact, a laptop with a screen size of up to 16" is placed in the main compartment, along with a mouse, a pad and a charger. The front compartment for other accessories also holds a lot of things without protruding too much. In general, the bag leaves only positive impressions after use. Only but because of the strict style of execution, it will not fit all women — some of the fair sex, the model may seem somewhat rude.
Helpful advice. When choosing a bag for a laptop, pay attention to the correspondence between the dimensions of its internal compartment and the physical dimensions of the laptop, the protective properties of the model, as well as the number of compartments for minor items — the presence of special compartments for CDs, pens, mice, chargers and documents will add convenience when using bag.
