High-end racing kit consisting of a steering wheel and pedals with Force Feedback system, branded magnetic switch mechanisms, and a full LED display. In terms of its equipment and positioning, it is an upgrade of the T128X system, with the same visual design but more pedals and a more useful screen. While the T128X was equipped with simple LED indicators, the T248X uses a monochrome screen that can display two dozen different parameters: from RPM and gear ratio to best lap time and total race time.

The branded Hybrid Drive system with belt drive supports 3 types of resistance feedback: classic, expanded (for better control during drifts), and enhanced force feedback effect, allowing you to convey all the physical sensations during a race when the sports car accidentally climbs onto a curb or flies off the track. The paddle magnetic switches are based on the proprietary contactless H.E.A.R.T magnet system, providing ultra-fast gear shifts (response time of 30 ms) with a distinct click to avoid errors during the race.

The pedal unit (gas, clutch, brake) included in the kit is built with a durable magnetic mechanism and supports 4 different brake pedal modes. The steering wheel controls are designed in the usual style for this series: on the left is a 4-way D-pad, on the right are 4 main control buttons mirroring a gamepad, at the center of the wheel are functional keys, and on the sides are switches and trigger analogs. The manufacturer promises full compatibility with most popular racing simulators released on PC and Xbox platforms in recent years.

Magnetic paddle shifters

The Thrustmaster set includes a wheel base with clamp-on desk mounting and a pedal set with three pedals — throttle, brake, and clutch. A separate gear shifter is not included: gear changes are handled by the paddle shifters, which use the proprietary H.E.A.R.T. magnetic system. It delivers crisp feedback with distinctive clicks and a response time of about 30 ms.

Force feedback

The belt-driven Hybrid Drive system supports three force feedback modes: standard, extended, and boosted. In the latter, the player feels every nuance of the car’s behavior on the track, if the game supports such effects. The Thrustmaster T248X pedal set is also based on a magnetic system and lets you choose one of four levels of brake pedal resistance.

LED display

A standout feature of the wheel is the built-in LED display, which shows a wide range of data in real time: speed, RPM, current gear, lap number, race position, and more. The controls are complemented by two dozen buttons and a four-way D-Pad.
