Compact macro lens for Canon and Nikon full-frame SLRs. However, macro shooting at a scale of 1:1 from a distance of 30 cm is by no means the only strong point of the model. Thanks to the 9-blade aperture design, 100mm focal length and f/2.8 aperture, the lens draws good portraits with soft background blur. Also Tokina ATX-I 100mm f/2.8 FF Macro will cope with video shooting very well.

The macro lens uses a "flat field" optical design that reduces the curvature of the field of view to zero and guarantees excellent edge-to-edge sharpness. In the optical formula of the model, there are 9 elements combined in 8 groups. The lens weighs a little more than half a kilogram, it protrudes 9.5 cm in length, and its size in diameter is 7.3 cm. The size of the filter thread is 55 mm. The icing on the cake is the Tokina focus mechanism for quickly switching between auto and manual focus by moving the focus ring forward (turns on autofocus) or backward (manual focus).
