HDWD110UZSVA

HDWD110EZSTA - Retail. HDWD110UZSVA - Bulk.

One of the younger models of 3.5″ internal hard drives from the Toshiba P300 line of consumer HDD drives, which includes models from 500 GB to 6 TB. It is positioned as a product of the basic price category, designed for use in multi-purpose home, office and gaming configurations. A capacity of 1 TB will be enough to store a wide range of working projects, moderate volumes of SD / HD / UHD-resolution media content and a set of software distributions.

It can be used as a PC system drive, work as part of a RAID array or paired with a more efficient SSD drive. In the latter case, it can be used as part of entry-level workstations, the operation of which does not involve a heavy load on the data storage subsystem. The Toshiba P300 HDWD110EZSTA shows impressive sequential read/write speeds (up to 195 Mbps) and has sufficient cache memory (64 MB). Inside this model is one high-capacity magnetic platter and a pair of read/write heads. Thanks to the high rotation speed of 7200 rpm, it shows low data access latency. Demonstrates low power consumption (only 3.7 W in standby mode), does not require a separate active cooling system. Connects to a SATA3 port, which is backwards compatible with SATA/SATA2.

Model overview based on user reviews
The Toshiba P300 P300 hard drive receives mixed reviews from users. Many appreciate its affordable price and decent speed, making it suitable for basic storage needs. However, a common complaint is the noise level, with several users noting that the drive is noisy and vibrates, which can be distracting. Some users have experienced issues with reliability, reporting that the drive can become unreliable after several months of use, with problems like crackling sounds and data errors. While a few users have had positive experiences, citing stable performance over years, others recommend considering alternatives like Seagate or Western Digital for better reliability and quieter operation. Overall, the Toshiba P300 P300 is a budget-friendly option but may not be the best choice for those sensitive to noise or seeking long-term reliability.

I have been using it for 11 months, from the 9th month minor problems began (I began to slowly upload files that have been stored on it for a long time). From the 10th month, problems with the HDD only began to increase, it became noisier, when saving files from 2GB, they began to break down (not open), you have to delete and reload, and it can only be successful after 3-4 attempts. Now (at the 11th month) errors at the system level began to fly into everything, from the discharge, when the disk freezes the whole computer (although the whole system is on a Samsung EVO SSD, when this HDD was turned off, the computer flew like new). I ran this HDD through a check for broken cells and then a full test, it turned out that the disk was already damaged by 48% and several dozen errors. Fortunately, there is a 2-year warranty, I will take it under warranty one of these days, I hope they will return the money or change it to a new one.

the disk does everything fine
after 3 months it started to hum, but not constantly, then it hums, then a loud sound and subsides, it won’t shave then the sound is humming and vibration, if you have a 1k girl body, for example, like mine, then it’s strong if it’s normal, maybe it won’t be so audible

If someone says that a hard drive is bad, then either they have no skills or it's defective. Of course, nowadays SSDs are the main choice, this hard drive is just for file storage. My result is nearly 32,000 hours of operation.
5 years of stable operation Was the cheapest in its segment
not a very pleasant scraping noise during operation, but not loud, especially if the case is closed and placed somewhere under the desk.
