The write speed is as advertised. Perhaps the reading speed would be higher when connected to Gen 2. I only have USB 3.2 Gen 1 connectors on the motherboard. Purely in theory, it can easily be suitable for games (comparable in speed to internal SATA SSDs), the problem or advantage is only in the external connection interface . Small, compact, smart. Real volume (466 GB). There are two wires included. Metal case. Weight. Reading speed is slightly less than stated. I showed 460 MB / s versus 520 MB / s.
