The Ultimate Ears Wonderboom speaker system is completely water and dust resistant, it can float on the surface of the water and even endure a 30-minute immersion to a depth of one metre. The sound quality of the built-in forty-millimetre acoustic drivers can be described as high; they are capable of reproducing the frequency range from 80 to 20,000 Hz. The sound has a pronounced bass accent and is perfect for playing modern electronic music.

To pair with a smartphone, tablet or laptop, an energy-efficient wireless bluetooth 4.0 interface is used, and due to a special built-in antenna, the communication range reaches 30 metres. A capacious Li-Ion battery provides up to 10 hours of continuous sound at 75% volume. There is support for the Hands Free mode, in which the speaker system plays the role of a loud bluetooth headset.
