I have previously used two "household" Valera hair dryers and was satisfied (one was the Valera Silent 2200 Super Ionic). But what Valera sold me under the name "Excel 1800" was not what I expected. The hair dryer is quite small, about 20% smaller than its counterparts, and the sticker on the side with the company name barely held out of the box. It's a simple adhesive, and I didn't remove it only because it would leave a sticky dirty spot, but it will soon fall off from the heat when in use. The switches are loose and poorly fitted. Additionally, for the effect of "multifunctionality," extra symbols are applied, and space is left for the switch to move. But the switch doesn't align with these symbols, creating confusion you have to get used to. The rear cover of the case simply snaps on, and instead of a proper mesh, there's a cut-out circle from mosquito netting inserted. The operational sound is buzzing, resembling a toy car. However, the hair dryer does fulfill its basic functional purpose; the airflow is sufficient, it heats the air quickly, and the cord length is good, but the cord itself is thin. Marketing the hair dryer as "lightweight" means "super-budget," but is it truly budget-friendly? For 375 UAH, well-known companies offer models with the same wire-wound heating element, a quieter motor, better component fitting, and several attachments included. Valera is not a "guarantee of quality and high level of competence," but rather a company focused on making a profit and selling its super-budget models at the price of premium models from other companies.
