The Vango brand sleeping blanket represents the mid-budget segment and is intended for hiking and cycling trips into nature. The model has moderate dimensions in the complete compression bag (33x27x27 cm or about 24 liters) and a weight of 2 kg, being one of the lightest in the Nitestar line. This was largely achieved through the Alpha synthetic insulation, which is placed in 2 layers.

The Vango Nitestar Alpha 300 Quad sleeping bag was independently tested in accordance with the EN 23537 standard, and its results showed that a man can count on a comfortable overnight stay in nature at temperatures not lower than -5 °C, and a woman - up to +1 °C. It should not be hot at temperatures not exceeding +18 degrees Celsius. Accordingly, it is best to use a sleeping bag in the off-season, as well as in relatively mild winters and not too hot summers.
