Attachment Set

The steam mop belongs to the budget class, but at the same time offers the functionality of a 2-in-1 model and a good set of attachments for cleaning different rooms—from the kitchen and bathroom to the balcony. The main attachment has a triangular shape, making it more convenient for cleaning corners and areas along walls. The microfiber cloth is intended for hard floor coverings, while the additional pad allows the mop to be used for cleaning carpets as well.

The remaining accessories are designed for use with the detachable handheld steam cleaner, which can be easily disconnected from the extension tube. The set includes a small round brush for removing stubborn dirt, a narrow nozzle for directing a jet of steam, an elongated brush for cleaning grout lines, and a squeegee for windows and other smooth surfaces, including mirrors, wall tiles, and shower enclosure glass.

As a result, the VAX S85-CM can be used as a full-size upright steam mop or a compact handheld steam cleaner. The assembled device weighs slightly more than 2 kg. The 5 m power cord provides sufficiently free movement during cleaning, while special hooks on the body allow the cord to be neatly wound for storage.

Performance

In terms of performance specifications, the VAX S85-CM is quite comparable to other models in its price category. Its power is 1300 W, and it takes about 30 seconds to heat up after being switched on. The appliance produces an intensive stream of steam that helps remove dirt, while the high temperature promotes hygienic treatment of surfaces.

The steam output intensity can be adjusted according to the type of surface and its resistance to high temperatures. The tank holds 330 ml of water, and a single fill is enough for approximately 15 minutes of continuous operation.
