Model overview based on user reviews
Vitra Neon is a rectangular acrylic bathtub available in several sizes. Users praise its reinforced construction and stability, while acrylic and fiberglass provide a solid feel and filling water sounds quieter than in steel models. Potential drawbacks include a slightly uneven surface in one case, frame-shaped legs that may complicate screen installation, and the need for more careful acrylic maintenance.
Pros
Cons
The choice was difficult, but I really liked the Vitra Neon bathtub. I bought the 150*70 cm size. It's more convenient for us since we're not too tall. Acrylic and fiberglass combined give a thickness of 5mm. The bottom and the perimeter edges are reinforced, so the top edge is perfectly even. The bathtub doesn't have any smell at all. We didn't take the legs because the waste pipe is outside at the back, and the legs don't go underneath; they kind of arch around the bathtub. You can buy any type of legs, but we're going to use bricks, and the edges will rest on a profile. If anyone is still undecided about buying it, don't hesitate. Real acrylic Not yet. |
