The Dutch tyre company Vredestein has more than a century of experience in the rubber industry. The first-born in the all-season line of tyres Quatrac saw the light at the end of the last millennium — in 1993. But the 21st century has long been in the yard, and the fifth generation of the all-weather rubber family is being sold with might and main on store shelves.

Summer and winter zones

The asymmetric tread pattern of the tyre is divided into summer and winter zones : the outer summer part provides responsive handling and confident grip when driving on asphalt surfaces, and the inner winter part with a characteristic dense siping allows you to feel more confident on a slippery or snowy road. The behavior of the tyre in different weather conditions is equally predictable.

Controllability

Improved handling on dry pavement is achieved by including an additional longitudinal groove in the design of the model to increase tread rigidity. Its edges are located at different angles of inclination, due to which there is an increase in the stability of the car on a dry road.

Strengths

The list of strengths of the tyre can be expanded with low rolling resistance and, as a result, fuel efficiency of the tyre, as well as acoustic comfort when driving. Designed for the mild European climate, the Vredestein Quatrac 5 has no significant disadvantages and adapts well to changes in weather conditions.
