Compact and easy-to-use stand-alone electric shaver powered by a rechargeable battery pack. Wahl 3615-1016 is designed for dry shaving. The battery life is 45 minutes, which is enough for 5-8 shaves. Charging time is 8 hours, but the manufacturer recommends that the first charge be carried out for 16 hours! The cutting part is represented by a shader, that is, a semicircular long mesh, behind which a knife is hidden.
The electric razor is intended for care not only for the face, it is permissible to use it when shaving the hairs on the neck and back of the head. The razor allows for finishing. The shader cuts the hairs almost to zero — the height of the stump is 0.1 mm. The electric shaver is equipped with an LED indicator that notifies you of the charging status of the battery pack. This model weighs only 88 g. It is also worth paying attention to the fact that the model has a wide range of equipment. The set includes: hard case, soft case, brush, spare knife and spare mesh, charging cord. Long battery life allows you to take the device with you on all sorts of trips and travels.

- configuration (mentioned above); - size; - the blade is relatively easy to clean. - takes a long time to charge; - the indicator is not informative, it’s unclear whether the device is fully charged or if it needs to charge longer; - the neck area is problematic for it; - if you want to stop using a razor, you need to shave with it regularly; you can't skip a few days. |
I treated myself to a birthday gift - I purchased this compact and convenient shaver. My barber recommended it to me. He uses the same one at work. I liked the results and therefore wanted one for myself. Before this, I obviously used razors (buying razors, buying shaving foam, a lot of money spent). My skin is sensitive, and if I scratch slightly or shave improperly, I end up with irritation. Which is completely absent when using this shaver. Naturally, if you don't overdo it. I use the electric shaver every day - I shave my neck and cheeks. It shaves excellently, but if the hair lies flat against the skin, it’s hard for the shaver to catch it, and you have to stretch the skin a bit. Shaves 95% without problems. The package contents really pleased me. They included everything necessary and even more (see additional photos). The attention to detail is remarkable (spare screen and blade, pouch, and even a case). The device works for a total of 6-8 hours, which is enough for a week of shaving. It charges the same amount of time. It has a Ni-MH battery. Therefore, I advise discharging it almost to zero and charging it for the full 8 hours. A downside here is the lack of an indicator - you can't tell if it's charged or not. I'm a bit displeased with how the cover opens to clean the container. It feels like it's being yanked out violently. But I think that's intentional and not a big issue. In conclusion, I’ll say this shaver is worth the money. It doesn’t shave perfectly, but it shaves well. It's more convenient to use than razors. You don't have to apply foam and it's “dry.” Compact, it's really a travel device, convenient to take with you on trips. - compact; - comfortable in hand; - "rich" configuration; - works for a week (if trimming small areas); - doesn't irritate the skin. - a small amount of hair remains; - takes a long time to charge; - no charge indicator. |
Simple and convenient electric razor for reasonable money, has its minor drawbacks, but overall leaves a positive impression. Handles fine stubble well, shaves cleanly, and allows for precise contouring. If you don't let stubble grow long, the result is genuinely clean. I recommend purchasing. Affordable price, shaves short stubble well, ergonomic design (fits well in hand), convenient for trimming contours. It takes a long time to charge, I would have liked to see USB-C for charging. |
Inexpensive travel razor
The American manufacturer Wahl's grid rechargeable electric shaver with article 03615 belongs to the Travel Shaver category and is an indispensable personal hygiene item in a traveler's travel bag. This is an inexpensive model designed exclusively for dry daily shaving, which is quite enough in road conditions. After all, shaving with soapy foam in the shower is a luxury of home care that is not available to a pilgrim. For cleaning, it will be enough to remove the cut bristles from under the mesh of the shaving head with a complete brush.
Design and Charging Features
Thanks to the rectangular flat design, the model turned out to be compact and convenient. The black plastic case is equipped with an LED charging indicator. With its weight of 90 g, the machine is unusually light and compact compared to many modern models. The razor has a single 17mm cutting head, covered with a protective mesh, and handles short stubble well. We mark the absence of an addition in the form of a trimmer as a drawback, but given the ridiculous price of a razor, we close our eyes to these little things. The device uses a Ni-MH battery as a power source, the features of which explain the long charging time of 8 hours. When the battery is fully charged, the device works for 45 minutes, which allows you to shave 6-8 times. On the road, this is more than enough.
Equipment and similar models
The razor comes with an additional foil and cutting unit, a charging cable with an euro plug, a brush, a metal storage box and a velvet bag. This model has an analogue of Moser 3615-0050 similar in parameters, which appeared on the market earlier. This is a device of the same class and price level, which differs in minor details of execution.

- It is used only on short hair;
- It causes irritation (especially the first few times);
- It doesn't handle shaving the neck very well.
By short hair, I mean really short hair - so you'll need to use it every 1-2 days (if your hair doesn't grow very fast, maybe every 3 days, but no more). After using it the first few times, large areas of skin were irritated (mostly around the neck), but later it stopped causing such reactions. On the neck, you need to pass over multiple times from different angles to shave the hair there (sometimes, I just left it and after this shaver, I would take a regular razor and finish the job with it), but sometimes the shaver would remove everything, and I never quite understood what the success depended on.
What's great is the package - a steel box, a soft pouch for transportation, an additional blade and mesh, a brush for cleaning the blade, and its small size. The easiest shaving is in the cheekbone area; other areas are also more or less convenient (not counting the neck). It takes a while to charge, but it lasts for several shaves without any problems.
In my opinion, it's a great thing if you're going to another city for a short time (the packaging makes it easy to transport) and you need to keep your face free of excessive hair, but you don't feel like carrying a razor and shaving cream/gel.
