The German company Wilo has a well-deserved reputation in the pumping equipment market. Therefore, it is not surprising that the unit for pumping clean and slightly polluted water from the Drain series with the model index TMW 32/8 is in steady demand in east european realities.

Pumped medium

The pump is responsible for the tasks of pumping out drainage, water from pools near the house, heating systems, pits and flooded premises (for example, a cellar or basement during spring floods). The speed of rotation of the plastic impeller of the device is set by a 370-watt electric motor with a “dry” rotor, hermetically isolated from the pumped medium. Its cooling occurs with the help of “driven” water, so you don’t have to worry about overheating of the motor. The maximum productivity of the pump reaches 10 m³/hour.

Disturbing device

One of the key features of the model, which distinguishes it from the background of its colleagues in the submersible pump shop, is the presence of a built-in TMW agitator on board. Due to the constant turbulence in the suction area, the removal of settling particles is ensured, there is no sewage odour and pollution of the pit is eliminated. The working medium for the pump is considered to be slightly polluted water with a size of solid impurities not exceeding 10 mm.

Deployment of drainage systems

The pump is used both when deploying stationary drainage systems, and as a mobile means of pumping wastewater (a drainage hose of the required length is connected to the pressure fitting). Its automatic operation is possible due to the float switch, which is used as a liquid level sensor. On a short-term basis, the unit can be used to pump water with a temperature of up to 90 °C (less than 3 minutes), the standard indicators of the temperature of the pumped medium for the pump range from 3 to 35 °C. The list of advantages of the model continues with a small weight (5.2 kg), so that removing the pump at the end of the work will not be a hassle.
