The most “large-diagonal” representative of the Xiaomi ultrabook lineup is the Laptop Pro 15.6. Unlike Xiaomi 12 and 13-inch laptops, which use eighth, seventh and even sixth generation Intel Core processors, 15-inch laptops are built on the latest 8th Gen Kaby Lake Refresh chips. You can choose from Core i5-8250U and Core i7-8550U — both quad-core eight-threaded with a base frequency of 1.6 – 1.8 GHz and Turbo Boost up to 3.4 – 4 GHz.
Gaming ultrabook
The amount of RAM in Xiaomi Laptop Pro 15.6 can vary from 8 to 16 GB, but the capacity of the solid state drive is strictly 256 GB (plus an empty slot for a second M.2 SSD). The graphics card is also unified — GeForce MX150, which, although not officially considered a gaming one, "pulls" at medium settings for Witcher 3 and PUBG, not to mention simpler games.
Unobvious benefit
At first glance, the price of Xiaomi Laptop Pro 15.6 does not seem low if you look only at the hardware. But to a powerful processor and graphics card, you should add a thin all-metal case (from which, however, paint peels off in the corners over time), one and a half times more capacious than most “classmates” battery (60 versus 40 W / h) and an IPS screen with FullHD-resolution and protective glass Gorilla Glass (not touch). With all this in mind, Xiaomi turned out to be one of the most complete “fifteen” on the market for its money.
