I bought it about 4 years ago when I started actively cycling touring, and I needed universal tools just in case, as a good knife can always come in handy. The knife and its frame are made of steel, painted black, with red aluminum overlays on the body. Over time, the knife has worn out, and in some places, the paint has come off, both on the aluminum and the steel parts.
From the factory, it has a decent sharpening, but not perfect, so it's up to your preference. The handle includes a set of bits, and there's a head for them on the handle. An interesting solution indeed. The knife also comes with a small sheath. It's made from sturdy fabric, but after 4 years, it has worn out and started getting holes. There's a strap for attaching it to a belt.
The mechanism is not button-operated; it opens manually and locks with a thick metal plate. It can't close on its own if opened to a certain click. To close it, you need to push the steel plate with effort and pull the blade. With some practice, you can open and close the knife with one hand.
