For the mild weather conditions of European winters, the Japanese tire manufacturer Yokohama offers an interesting friction model BluEarth Winter V906.

V-shaped tread pattern

The tire was introduced in 2020 and is a replacement for the V905 model. The tire tread is made in a symmetrical directional Harmony Tread design with V-shaped smooth drainage channels. They effectively drain water and melted snow, thereby reducing the risk of aquaplaning and slushplaning.

Excellent grip

The tread blocks are angled relative to the direction of wheel rotation. The sharp edges of the tire blocks allow it to "bite" into slippery surfaces, and additional grip is provided by numerous three-dimensional sipes on the tread elements. Branded rubber compound

The rubber compound of the model includes an increased silica content and is manufactured using the unique ART (Advanced Reaction Technology), which improves the elasticity of the compound in a wide range of temperatures. The use of Yokohama rubber helps reduce fuel consumption and reduce emissions of harmful gases. In addition, the tire has a long service life before the tread wears out.
