An advanced voice recorder, most of the "bells and whistles" of which relate to the original purpose — sound recording. So, the design provides a pair of microphones of a special design, providing a wide stereo base and corresponding sound quality. There is an automatic level control system and a noise filter. The sound quality can reach 96kHz/24bit; of course, more modest formats are also supported. For storage of materials, only microSD memory cards are used; one such card with a capacity of 2 GB is supplied as standard. There is an input for an external microphone and its own speaker. The AA battery is enough for 10 hours of recording.

The parameters of the data sheet indicate the average quality of the recording. In a compressed recording format, there is no 48kHz sampling parameter, which proves the averageness of the electronic filling. In addition, the manufacturer hides 2 important nuances: what is the signal-to-noise ratio ..? NO. 2) If during the recording the power went out - to the file of the khan! Buy Zoom, not aspirin - headaches from poor-quality recording on voice recorders are curable! All other voice recorders you've purchased for that price or more can be confidently discarded! And with the firmware version 2.0 (you can easily update it yourself), this device also turns into a USB microphone! Check how much the cheapest USB microphone costs and compare it to the competing models - and throw away your Olympus, Panasonic, Samsung, Sony, Teac, and other junk. In its class, Zoom outdoes everyone in terms of price and quality! This model has one drawback - if you fidget with the device while holding it in your hand, then all these fidgeting will be recorded, and therefore, if possible, you need to use a tripod - this is a device for demo recordings of serious musicians, for blogging, for podcasting, and not for pampering (there is a mount for a tripod head)  Vasya Pupkin: use Zoom H1 few months i recommend it should buy |
I tried to make the most comprehensive review: Fast navigation available in the video description. I cover everything - from the package contents to the installation and updating of drivers with firmware. Detailed review of all buttons and functions with information mentioned for new users. Speech recording test, built-in speaker test, noise test from button presses during recording and touches. Demonstration of peak meter operation and live music recording test at a restaurant's summer terrace. I haven't personally encountered a more detailed review. Overexposure at the beginning due to a rendering bug, I think it will get better with experience, it's still the first attempt.
