Water supply

The direction of flow water supply provided in the installation. There are many constructs that allow for multiple variants at once - for example, above and rearDual mode flush. Possibility of flushing in two modes - standard and economical. In the first case, the entire drain tank (from 6 to 10 liters) is emptied, in the second only a certain portion of water (for example, 2 or 3 liters); each mode is usually responsible for a separate button. This feature allows more efficient and economical water consumption: the user can choose the mode of flushing depending on how much water is needed at any given moment.

Flush-stop mode. Mode that allows manually adjusting the amount of water. Control in such systems is carried out by a single button: the flush is turned on the first push of the button and turned off by a second push (or stops when the tank is completely emptied if the button was not pressed a second time). Such systems allow even more accurate dosing of water than two-mode (cf. the corresponding paragraph) - the user can determine when the bowl has been cleaned and the flush can be stopped.

Touchless flush. Flush systems working in a contactless way. They are often fully automatic and do not require any additional action from the user at all. So, one of the most popular options is an infrared sensor, which determines the presence of a person before installation; when a person leaves, the flushing system is turned on. Another option is a sensor that...records the presence of waste in the control area (for example, a liquid in the urinal). In any case, the main advantage of such systems is hygiene: the user does not need to touch the elements of the bathroom. This is especially important for common toilets. On the other hand, contactless automation is expensive.

Drain tank volume

The volume of the drain tank provided in the installation.

The larger volume, on the one hand, allows for better flushing, on the other - affects the water consumption and tank dimensions. In addition, with relatively small bowls, it does not require much water. Most installations use tanks of 6 to 10 liters - these indicators are considered optimal in the light of the described features.

Max. load

The greatest weight of the user, which is able to withstand installation (of course, provided that it is high-quality installation). Indicated only for models used with toilet bowls and bidet (cf. «Purpose»). Note that even the most modest models can withstand about 300 kg, and in most cases this indicator is 400 kg and higher - this is more than enough for full use.

An individual case is a block model (cf. «Type of construction»): in them weight may be limited to the possibilities of outdoor plumbing.
