Standard elliptical stylus model equipped with an elliptical bonded stylus. This reduces tracing distortion and allows for more accurate sound reproduction. Instead of using a single large magnet the two magnets are arranged in the shape of a "V". The two magnets are positioned precisely to match the positions of the left and right channels in the stereo groove walls. Consequently the VM design ensures outstanding channel separation extended frequency response and superb tracking.

The Ortofon Cadenza Red features a nude fine line stylus with a cylindrical aluminium cantilever. The stylus tip radius is r/R 8/40 µm. The coils are made from 6NX (99.9999 %) pure silver wire. An improved winding process on the armature allows a better channel balance.

The Audio Technica AT33SA Moving Coil Cartridge with Shibata Stylus provides a tapered boron cantilever enabling a superior vinyl sound. This cantilever construction coupled with a double damper provides a reduced weight to offer a wide 15 - 50000Hz bandwidth 30dB channel separation and minimised distortion for clear sound reproduction.
