The VM520EB is part of the 500 Series in Audio-Technica’s new VM cartridge line – a line that harks back to A-T’s early days as a manufacturer primarily of high-end phono cartridges, while also incorporating today’s advanced technology. Like all VM cartridges, the VM520EB is equipped with dual magnets that are positioned to match the left and right channels in the stereo record groove for outstanding channel separation and extended frequency response. The cartridge’s 0.3 x 0.7 mil elliptical bonded stylus tracks the record groove with high accuracy for outstanding audio reproduction.

A safety raiser designed to mount on a manual turntable. The AT6006R Safety Raiser automatically lifts the tonearm at the end of a record, protecting the stylus from damage. The Ortofon 2MR Red Cartridge has been designed for tonearms with a low ride height featuring a cartridge body that is three millimetres shorter than the standard 2M model. In recognition of Pro-Jects 30th anniversary Pro-Ject wanted to go back to their roots bringing a new design to their turntables. Not only was a new turntable made but also a completely new cartridge. Pro-Ject teamed up with Ortofon to develop a unique range of cartridges.
