AXIS TQ6811-E Dome Clear Hydrophilic is an accessory dome with a durable hydrophilic coating. The coating helps prevent water droplets from covering the dome in rainy conditions. It also provides a self-cleaning effect that helps carry away dirt and dust by rain-wash. Additionally the dome is hard-coated for increased protection against scratches.

AXIS T91L61 Wall-and-Pole Mount gives the installer a choice of using either RJ45 or IDC (insulation-displacement contact) connector for the installation. It comes with a built-in cable with an Ethernet IP66 RJ45 connector, which facilitates the installation and prevents water and dust to enter the network camera.

Ethernet has a limited cable length between the switch and the camera of 100m (328 ft.). When needed to cover a longer distance a switch is normally used as a repeater or optical fiber may be used.

To overcome this distance limit network installers can simply connect an AXIS T8129 PoE Extender in-line with the Cat-5e or Cat-6 cable and forward the rest to the camera. Dependent on midspan and camera type the connection in total can be between 200-400 meters (656-1312 ft.).
