Texspan round slings are manufactured from 100% polyester. The sling is made up with a seamless outer polyester cover and a core produced from a continuous hank of high-tenacity polyester. They are so more→fter than duplex slings and kinder to delicate surfaces. BS EN1492: 2000 compliant. NB Length quoted are for the effective working length, which is half the circumference of the sling . A full range of effective working lengths is also available from 0.5m to 6m and strength ratings in excess of 2 tonnes up to a maximum of 6 tonnes. Working Load Limit: 1 tonne x 1 metre

Weight-for-weight, this strap is three to five times stronger than chains and have the advantage that overload can be detected early by the fraying of the straps. Manufactured from 100% high strength more→polyester with reinforced lifting eyes. Colour-coded according to European standards for identifying their capacity. Safe working load ratings quoted are for a load between the loop eyes (U configuration) and a load at one end (Straight configuration).
