A 1mm steel shell provides exceptional durability and helps to produce an enormous explosive sound. Fitted to the side of this shell are the CL50 steel lugs. These provide quick and easy tuning capabilities as well as maintaining tuning for each time you play. The Firecracker snare is fitted with 1.6mm steel hoops providing punchy rimshots and focus the sound of the snare drum downwards reducing un-wanted resonating overtones through the steel shell.
