GYS PROGYS 180 Inverter Arc

The PROGYS 180 is a powerful inverter stick welder designed for professional workshop/maintence use. The unit ensures professional welding on steel, cast iron and stainless steel up to 10 mm thick. It is equipped with the latest electronic inverter technologies including Hot Start, that makes for easy arc striking, Anti Sticking, which reduces the risk of electrodes sticking to the work piece, and Arc Force, which regulates the arc length ensuring a strong arc. It has a high duty cycle with welding current adjustable from 10 to 180Amps enabling the use with electrode sizes 1.6 to 4mm. Single-phase power supply (240v) with protection against overvoltages up to 400v (PROTEC 400). Generator friendly. Supplied in carry case with earth cable and electrode holder. Features a 2 year parts & labour warranty. This welder is fitted with a Euro plug and an adaptor is supplied to enable it to be plugged into a standard UK 13A socket. This will enable welding currents of up-to 130A to be used. To use higher currents, this unit must be hardwired to a suitable 32A supply.
