It enables individual programming of up to six independent schedules - when combined with an automatic water distributor it therefore enables up to six separate garden areas to be watered one after the other. To ensure water is not wasted during rainy weather, this timer can be connected to a Gardena 1188 Soil Moisture Sensor, which will temporarily cancel schdeduled programs if it detects that the soil does not need watering.
