The FE-NS series uses long-fiber pulp as the main material for the base layer, and has sufficient thickness and internal loss. The surface layer contains short fiber pulp to increase the propagation speed on the diaphragm surface. As a result, while maintaining the bright and firm tone of the midrange, it is possible to reproduce crisp highs and deep lows with a good start-up. A large ferrite magnet is used in the magnetic circuit to ensure sufficient magnetic flux density. A copper cap has been added to the pole to reduce current distortion, resulting in powerful music playback and improved sound quality in the mid-to-high range. A highly rigid aluminum die-cast frame is used to support the large ferrite magnetic circuit and eliminate unnecessary resonance. In order to improve linearity, we have adopted a corrugation damper that has high compliance but has little change in hardness from small inputs to large inputs and has excellent movement. In addition, a three-point adhesive method is used to attach the cone paper, damper, and voice coil at the same location. High frequency characteristics are improved by increasing the strength of the corn neck. The input terminals use Faston 205 type low-loss gold-plated terminals. Ensures secure connection of speaker cables and prevents sound quality deterioration. FE108NS is a newly developed full-range speaker unit that inherits the development philosophy and proprietary technology of the Sol series.
