The Acoustic Energy AE320 Floorstanding Speakers are three-way speakers made for medium to large rooms. They are the larger of the two floorstanding speaker models in the 300 series offering greater power handling sensitivity and low-end extension compared to the smaller 2.5-way AE309 model. These speakers feature the latest generation 130mm mid-bass drive units with a new ceramic aluminium sandwich cone developed especially for the 300 Series. They also use a 28mm aluminium tweeter that offers high power handling and low fundamental resonance to reduce distortion. Thanks to Wide Dispersion Technology waveguides which shape the acoustic output of the tweeter to match the woofer youll enjoy a wider sweet spot in your listening environment. The design of the AE320 also includes an inert 18mm high-density MDF cabinet with proprietary bracing technology from the award-winning Reference Series. This bracing reduces cabinet colouration and gives the transducers greater breathing room. At the cabinets base is a pre-loaded inert mass material which adds damping and reduces cabinet colouration even further.
