ProPilot X Calibre 400 Laser 39mm Mens Watch

Meet the new Pro Pilot X Calibre 400 Laser. Its 39mm case and bracelet are both in titanium, and it’s powered by our game-changing Calibre 400 five-day automatic. But the story this time is in its colourful dial, which is created using an innovative lasering technique never seen in watchmaking before. Incredibly, there’s not a drop of colour pigmen... moret in it. Instead, the blue, green and violet finish is created by reflected light. It’s a technological beauty. The technique behind the watch’s colourful dial is state-of-the-art. But it’s inspired by the principles of biomimicry, whereby technology reflects the wonders of nature. Think of the iridescent wings of a beetle and the way they reflect light to appear a bluey-green. It’s the same thing here. We developed the technique in partnership with Switzerland’s prestigious ETH Zürich university and this is the first time it’s been used in a watch. The result? Joy on the wrist.
