Stand for iron

— the presence of an stand for iron in the ironing system (see "Type"). The stand usually has the form of a shelf made of metal or other heat-resistant material; it is placed on the wide end of the ironing board, on the opposite side of the narrowed part. On such a shelf, you can safely put a heated iron with the soleplate down.
