— filler based on highly absorbent minerals, usually zeolite or attapulgite. The liquid falling on the layer of such a filler is evenly distributed in it, moreover, absorbent compositions retain odours well. The cost of such compositions is usually higher than that of wood, but this is offset by the fact that such a filler has to be changed relatively rarely — on average once a week.
