Frame

— as the name implies, a required element of this design is the frame — usually metal or high-strength plastic. In general, such aquariums are more durable than frameless ones, but this advantage becomes noticeable only with very large volumes; however, such structures are more expensive. Therefore, the frame structure is not used very often — either for aesthetic reasons, or where it is necessary to achieve the desired strength.
