The Corus2 is the 2nd generation design of the celebrated Corus cartridge. It represents a significant upgrade in terms of both technology and sound quality. The soundstage of the Cadenza Blue from Ortofon  is wide open and grandiose as soon as you take it out of the box. The Cadenza Blue employs a Nude FG 70 stylus with a very thin ruby cantilever and the improved winding process of the armature ensures better channel balance than any model that came before it.

The Ortofon Cadenza Red features a nude fine line stylus with a cylindrical aluminium cantilever. The stylus tip radius is r/R 8/40 µm. The coils are made from 6NX (99.9999 %) pure silver wire. An improved winding process on the armature allows a better channel balance.

Replacement cartridge with half-inch mount that is specially designed for the needs of DJs and features a highly-rigid polyphenylene sulfide (PPS)/glass fibre body and a tracking force of 2 to 4 grams (3 grams standard).
