Compared to a similar solution, a soft "belt pad" for an adult seatbelt is often larger and can shift the belt to the side, while children's covers are usually more compact and hold steadier. An example of use — a child complains that the belt "cuts" the neck: you place the covers, adjust the height of the belt/headrest, and the belts start to fit softer and more evenly.
