— the cover / case is equipped with a heat-insulating layer. A wide range of materials can be used as insulation: polyurethane foam, foam plastic, foam rubber, wool, etc. In total, the insulation protects the musical instrument not only from cold, but also from heat. The heat-insulating layer turns the protective shell into a thermos. On the other hand, covers / cases with insulation are somewhat larger and heavier than classic protective shells.
