Fishing jackets
Jackets
— jackets for fishing use, as well as tourist jackets in general, are quite diverse in terms of specialization, materials and design. One of the most popular varieties are fleece jackets. They perfectly retain heat and can be used even in winter; however, note that some models are designed to be used mainly as a heater, on top of such a “fleece” you will have to put on an outer layer of clothing.
Another common option is windblock jackets; they are, as the name suggests, mainly designed to protect against the wind, and often also against precipitation. These jackets are quite thin; they can be supplemented with a minimal layer of insulation, but in cold weather you still have to put on an extra layer of clothing.
There are also functional fishing jackets — up to models originally created for certain types of fishing (for example, fly fishing). They are distinguished, in particular, by their free cut, designed not to interfere with the casting, and the special design of the pockets, which facilitates the placement of boxes with baits and other equipment. And the combined "fishing and hunting" models can be made double-sided, with camouflage colours on one side and plain on the other.
Another interesting variety is anti-mosquito jackets. These jackets are made of thin mesh, which allows air to pass freely, but perfectly traps mosquitoes and other annoying insects. The design often provides for a hood with a mesh for the face, which allows you to completely cover your head.
