The original Feeder Special spade-end pattern has been super popular over the years, and naturally the public demanded and ideas from our match team have helped us develop an eyed version of this pat more→tern! The main use of this hook of course is for hair-rigging baits. When hair rigging, anglers are often targeting bigger fish, so we’ve stepped-up the wire gauge of these hooks slightly compared to the spade versions, adding more strength to it. These hooks have been tested for some time (indeed, you may have seen them on the Guru website in features!) and launched in 2013 in both eyed and spade-end versions. Theyre made from a lovely, light more→wire that will handle everything up to, and including, match-sized carp. Theyre a super all-round hook that is perfect for use with pellets, maggots and sweetcorn on a range of waters. They're favoured by Guru match ace Andy Bennett and he uses them to amass huge weights from commercials up and down the UK.

This is an awesome, strong all-round pattern thats suitable for most styles of angling, right from waggler fishing, through to heavy pole work and specialist feeder fishing. Its a more conventional pa more→ttern than the QM1 and features a super-wide gape that helps you to connect with as many bites as possible. The beaked shape will help convert solid hook holds into fish in the net. A large eye allows you to thread heavier hook link lines through three times when tying the knotless knot for the most cutting-edge hair-rig presentations.
